Infosys Interview Experience - BBD, LUCKNOW, 26-Sep-2011

I think among all the companies,it is easiest to get placed in infosys because their selection process is quite simple. Firstly there will be an aptitude test(based on logical and analytical reasoning, very few or no questions from quant) and an English test. The cut off is approx 60% for both tests. To crack the written test the main focus should be on English. aptitude was easy.

The next is HR interview. It was really very cool. They make you very comfortable and talk to you in a very friendly manner.Just be yourself,don't lie,don't show arrogance, and speak simple English in a clear way and don't speak unnecessary things. When i entered,the first question was "tell me something about yourself"

I started with my name, academic and profession profile(in short),then i spoke about the aspects of my personality..when i was telling this all the interviewer interrupted me in between and he asked me about my hobbies. My hobby is cooking so i told him that. Then he asked me about my favourite dish. i said manchurian (as it is my favourite)..then he asked me to explain the recipe of this particular dish. I explained it. then he had a talk with me about my summer training project. lastly he asked me "what do you know about infosys?" I spoke all the facts and figures which i studied about infosys.
It was a very healthy discussion.. I enjoyed it

Finally I got selected.
