INFOSYS PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 07 FEB 2008 - SONEPAT

Hi Friends

This is Shikha from GVMIT, SONEPAT Infosys visited B.M col of Engineering on 7 Feb'08 and i was the lucky one to be finally selected. Here i m writing my experiece so that u all can benefit.

1. LOGICAL REASONING -30 QUES-40 MINUTES
2. ENGLISH -40 QUES-35 MINUTES

The papers were not difficult but time management is very crucial so just revise following topics:

1. logical reasoning includes

DATA SUFFICIENCY - VERY EASY -5 QUESTIONS

e.g-

WHAT IS VALUE OF X & Y,IF THEY R PRIME?
1.X+Y=14

2.198 IS DIVISIBLE BY XY... I WROTE THAT BOTH 1 AND 2 WILL B REQUIRED

VENN DIAGRAM-EASIEST-5 QUESTIONS

PLEASE BE VERY ATTENTIVE...

LOGIC-5 QUE,

JUST FOLLOW R.S AGGARWAL VERBAL AND NON VERBAL FOR INFOSYS REASONING PAPER..

2. English section

2 passages - 10 que and others were correcting grammatical mistakes, fill in the blanks, deriving conclusions etc, easy but do it quickly....

FOR INTERVIEW, I wd say that it is ur confidence and ur sharpness that matters, nothing else.

Infy people will try to ask u some very awkward ques, to see how u react in those situations, and u should not lose ur focus from first second to the last.

Most imp tips:
1. Sit straight, don't bend ur shoulders in any case..
2. Feel very comfortable, and don't be afraid to smile, they like friendly people...
