INFOSYS PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 18 MAR 2008 - JODHPUR
Rated : +3 , -1
Hi Friends

March 18th, 2008
Today a campus recruitment was conducted by Infosys. Initially there was a ppt session then Written Test
1) Analytical ability test -30 questions -45 minutes
2) Verbal ability- 40 questions - 30 minutes

And it was made clear that anyone clearing the 1st test would be eligible for the 2nd one.

In 1st test:
There were questions of
5 from syllogism (must remember 9 rules of syllogism from r s agarwal)
5 from figure rotation
5 from data sufficiency
5 from data interpretation
10 questions were on a problem of having a family with seven members and accordingly there were jobs for them. you might get the same question in rs agarwal

Overall paper was easy and you can easily get through if you have read rules and have solved some of the examples.

Next is the tough job, second test - Verbal ability
There were 2 passages, based on which there were 10 questions,
10 questions on deriving conclusions from passages
10 questions on sentence completion
and remaining were to find out erroneous sentence among the given options.

Now the shortlisted candidates were called for the interview, it was the easiest interview, as they haven't asked anything technical. They were putting stress only on communication skills

I get through the first and the second test also.
But the communication skills paid me off and was rejected in the interview because of poor performance
therefore I want you all to take care of it.
