INFOSYS PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 04 JUN 2007 - HYDERABAD

Hi Friends

I have attended Infosys interveiw and I m happy to tell u all tht I m a part of the company now lets share my success story...

The Credit goes to Friends always to empower and make people much stronger to attend any interveiw..

My INFOSYS Test pattern was as follows...

Part 1
Logical reasoning and Quant..
40 min 30 Q
In which they concentrated on Directions and other general reasoning type questions...

Part 2
Verbal Ability
30 min
It consists of 2 passages and realted questions and some questions like findin out correct sentences and etc...

Its easy for all the participants but surely mind that itz like a MINI CAT Exam so if possible my sincere advice to all Friends is to follow TIME Material of reasoning and verbal througly b4 exam 10 days for preparation and ull b into INFY...

After the test the results were announced and out of the combined session 800 students they selected around 65 to 75 persons..

HR Round..
Its true tht if u r thru written test then u r 90% nto company..

It was really a cool interveiw my HR was really cool man...

I was asked to speak abt myself,, my intersts, my family..etc..

After which I was asked tht was this 1 my 1st interveiw .. I said yes..

I was given few topics to speak on and given 30 sec. I chose the topic.. "People are leavin companies for career growth not for money". I spoke for around 45 to 55 sec.. he then stopped me and he asked me some simple q? like a women buys a pressure cooker for 50 rs sells it for 60 again buys it for 70 and again sells it for 80 what is the profit ?/.. I asnwered somethin.. but i was confident lookin straight into my HR...

thts alll..

I was asked to ask ny q?
I asked the general Abt carrer growth..?
What kind of Projects would be given according to my interest..

Then he asked me my last q?
WHY IT FEILD?
I answered tht i like to work with computers...

Thtz all wid my interveiw.. After 30 min the result was announced and tht was the happiest momment of my life when the HR Inchg. said tht
WELCOME TO INFOSYS
Because it was my dream company...
