INFOSYS PAPER - 29 OCT 2006 - HYDERABAD

Hi Friends

I had my written test for INFOSYS on 29th OCTOBER. The Test had

1. Analytical and Logical reasoning 30 ques for 45 mins
2. English paper 40 ques for 30 mins

The paper was not of puzzles but it consisted the following:

1. 5 Data Sufficiency questions
2. 5 to 6 questions where sequence of figures where given and you have to find out the odd figure out of it.
3. 5 questions on Data interpretation where on graph was given n questions related to that graph were asked.
4. Some questions like
All dogs are animals.
All animals are dogs.
....
....

U hav to find the exact relation from the above statements There were 5 to 6 questions

5. One para n some conditions were given n 4 questions were asked about it

Q was like this

There was 100 mts n 200mts race. P,Q,R,S,T,U,V are the participants and Some satatements were given

6. One more para was given and 5 to 6 questions were asked about it

Question was somewat like this
6 people sit around a round table. A,B,C,D,E,F are the persons. They wear T-shirts of colors Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Black and White not in this order respectively. Hey hav the following Burger, Pastries, Patties, Biscuits, ... , ....  not in this order( I don remember). Based on this some statements nearly 8 statements r given n u hav to find their respective combinations.

ENGLISH PAPER

The paper was lengthy. It had 2 passages tht too lengthy and remaining were all the previous sections but too lengthy questions

U should be quick enough to read the questions to complete it on time.

INTERVIEW:

To our shock it had 2 rounds:

1. They took for me for 30 t0 40 mins.
They asked abt project, 3 puzzles and all HR questions and asked to talk on the topic - MALL SHOPPING
They gave me some situations and asked how I would handle them.

2. They took for 10 mins all HR related questions

RESULT IN THREE WEEKS n waiting for it.

I heard people hav got call for 19th NOVEMBER so prepare well n hope
u wont be shocked by the paper
