Huawei Interview Experience - Hyderabad, Feb 2016

Posted By : Anonymous Rating : +6, -1
Hi everyone,

I am writing this to share my interview experience with Huawei. Huawei is a company based in china. Huawei's India R&D center is in Bangalore, Whitefield. Huawei conducted off-campus interviews around the south and east part of countries to hire freshers for its R&D center.

Eligibility: only ECE and CSE students are allowed to appear that time. People who have backlogs are also allowed to appear so no cgpa and backlogs limit.

Huawei Interview process consists of five rounds.

1). Aptitude and Reasoning.
2). Coding Round.
3). Technical Interview -1.
4). Technical Interview-2.
5). HR Round.

Aptitude and Reasoning :

This round is conducted in our college itself. If you prepare basic aptitude and reasoning questions you will be able to crack it. No negative marking.

Coding Round:

Coding round is conducted for people who cleared first round in morning. It is computer based test so make sure your system is proper before starting the test. The test has four coding questions and half and hour time. According to me two questions are at easy level, one medium and one difficult. So if you have cleared two easy questions with all test cases passed and one questions with a certain test cases you will be called for next level. Make sure to take care of boundary and all exception conditions for your logic.

Technical Interview I and Technical Interview II.

Since this is off campus for these rounds we came to Hyderabad Narayanama college. All students from different colleges who are selected in first two rounds are asked to came here. Technical interview one and two are similar. Here they will test your logical skills. They will give you one coding question and you can solve it in any language or just write pseudo code. This interview is for freshers so language is not must and should. But remember to write the logic in an optimistic way. They want the solution in a optimistic way. And also practice data structures and algorithms, complexities of a program.

Programs will be easy to medium.

I am not writing questions because they are all the programs which we have practiced all across this 4 years but writing them in a simple and best way in your hands.

HR Round :

If you have cleared the first three rounds then you are already selected. In this hr round one senior level member in Huawei will interact with you to know about u, whether you are OK for reallocation, which domain and language you want to work and yes your final year project is only thing technical they will ask. So prepare to tell them. They will ask to explain in a way so that a naive person who don't know about IT should understand it. And some may ask to draw uml diagrams for your final project.

This interview happened in Feb after two months in April while writing our final sem I got a call from college that I am selected. For people who wants to clear huawei, just be confident, and brush up your logical skills practice more coding questions and keep it simple. You will be in loop if you complicate yourself they don't expect much from a fresher. Questions also range from easy to medium. And after that we got call letter in august.

If you didn't got call letter but your selected you can be patient because huawei will definitely call its people in right time. Don't forgot to take hr number at interview time so you can contact them for any queries.
