Posted By : Biswajit Das Rating : +42, -1
Good afternoon friends. I am Biswajit Das. First of all I want to thanks Indiabix.

On 12 DEc at 12 o'clock we received a mail from my collage (RCCIIT) that ERicsson would conduct an on campus for 2014 batch. So we became excited because this is a on campus drive.

We reported at 9 a.m. Total 41 students appeared for this drive.

There are 4 elimination round.

1) Aptitude.
2) GD.
3) Tech Interview.
4) HR.

There were 45 question which had to solve in 45 mins. Aptitude round was not so difficult. Quant and Reasoning was soso. But for me English was very difficult. There were long passage in english section. So it was time consuming. So practice as much as possible. There was no negative marks.

So attempt all the questions whether the answer is right or wrong. As I appeared many campus drive and got rejected in HR so I was enough confident that I would clear the apti. Only 21 student cleared the apti round out of 41. I was one of them.

Then we were divided into two teams for the GD round. The GD topics are common and recent topic. So speak valid points. Those who spoke valid points but not talked too much also they got selected. ONly 16 was selected for the tech round out of 21.

Tech round was not so easy. You have to fight for it. My HR asked me some puzzle and trying to prove me I am wrong. So keep confident and show confidence. Some of questions I describe below:

HR: Good afternoon Biswajit describe yourself.
Me: Told.

HR: Asked me a puzzle.
Me: I did not answer it clearly.

HR: OK Biswajit when we call someone then we get a message "The user is busy" OR " The network is Busy". What is the difference between this message.
Me: Told.

HR: Sometimes the user is not busy with other person but still we get the message " The user is busy. What is scenario of that?
Me: Told.

HR: What is the difference between Inverter and UPS?
Me: Did not able to tell.

HR: We use UPS on computer and inverter on home. Why?
Me: Told.

HR: what is the difference between amplifier and repeater?
Me: Did not know.

HR: Difference between db and dbm?
Me: Told.

HR: Explain the GSM technology.
Me: Told not so clearly.

HR: What is the modulation and why it is needed?
Me: Told.

HR: For long distance traveling which modulation we preferred? AM or FM?
Me: Told.

Then saying thank you he told me to leave.

For ece students you have to have a good knowledge in communication wireless and project.

Only 12 students selected for HR round. I was one of them.

The I got the call for HR. This time I was very calm because I was rejected in INfy and accenture in HR. HR asked me some basic question about myself family etc.

Then at 7.30 pm the HR came and announced the result. He told that only 10 student had selected. I was one of them. : ).

Those Bengali medium students who are anxious about the GD round do not worry just practice yourself. I am belong to bengali medium and I am not so good in english. Just stay true stay you. So guys keep patients and prepare yourself. MY dgpa is 7.52. So core company does not mean you must have some 8-9 points. Just be yourself.

Thank you : ).
