ERICSSON - Bangalore, Oct 22, 2012
Really hope this helps you guys, as the previous experiences had helped me.
My recruitment process had four main rounds.
1) Online test
2) Group discussion
3) Technical interview
4) HR interview
1)Online test
This round had three main sections. 15 questions in each.. 45mins on d whole..
Verbal - which consisted of synonyms, antonyms, RC(reading and comprehension), analogy. the level is a little high. working through exercises of all of these will be really helpful.
Analytical reasoning - this is the best part of the test.. the questions look pretty complex. but once u analyse them, u'll be given 5 questions to answer.. u can do them right away..
all u need in dis section is CONCENTRATION..
Aptitude - profit and loss, shares, time and work, time speed and distance..
the concept of these may seem tough.. but once u get d hold of it, it will be okay.. practice problems frm RS AGGARWAL (our saviour) will do..
2)Group discussion
This round, is basically tests ur communication skills and ur clarity of thoughts.. we were given very general topics like love marriage vs arrange marriage..
3)Technical interview
I am from electronics and communication background so was asked all about communication.. my interviewer started by asking about GSM, simplex, half duplex, full duplex, analog and digital communication and all modulation techniques (for analog, amplitude , freq and phase mod, for digital ask, fsk,bpsk,qpsk.. advantages of each), OSI models.. TCP/IP models in detail.. 2G, 3G etc
4)HR interview
This round basically is meant to see the kind of person you are.. you cannot really prepare for this round.. you just have to be yourself and confident.. and mostly, you require PRESENCE of MIND!!..
All of these rounds happened on the same day.. they selected 30 out of the 200 who appeared for the process..
Hoping that this helps you..:)
Think positive and just be confident.. :)
All the best guys :) :)
