CTS INTERVIEW - 13 MAR 2006 - KOLKATTA
I am telling U all about CTS Kolkata test.
On 11th March the apti is conducted having 70 individual marks with time 70 min distributed in 3 parts having English, Math, Mental
ablity. All the questions were very easy, only the time is to be maintained. The test conducted in 3 phase as all those candidates can not be taken for test together. Therefore, they surely have 3 or question sets.
Around 250 candidates were selected for Interview on 13th March. My time was 1.30pm. I was called for HR at about 4.30 pm.
HR asked me to give intro...
then asked about what is required to become a good s/w engg and also smiled at me because the form given us to fill up on 11th, I left
that space for lack of time. After my answer he appreceated me and asked about my strength and weakness ...and he then told me wait for Technical Interview.
After some time I was called for Tech....
The member introduced himself to me and told me to give intro...
Then he asked what languages do I know although it was mentioned on the form.
Asked to give difference between C and Java
What is normalization
What is 1NF
Aked to solve an easy problem unnormalized to 1NF form
then asked what is its cardinality ratio.
Then asked what type of strength I have
What is my weakness
As I have written in hobbies to study new computer books, he asked me what new books I learned
Also why math is my favorite subject and how can we apply it in daily life and in Software developement ...
Why I have not obtained good marks in math if it is my favorite subject
What about my semester marks( as it was exponential) and why my 1st sem score was so low and last sem was so high
Which university I studied ....
How can CTS benifit from me.
As the number of candidates left to be interviewed was quite high, he told me of that fact and ended up for shortage of time. Though CTS result is not relesed, I personally feel I am not selected. That was a very nice experience to me as that everythins is going in the right way for me.
Be confident yourself and look forward.
Good luck. Wish U all the best.
