Hello Guys,

My name is Anshul and I would like to share my interview experience just as a token of thanks to IndiaBix and for all you people preparing for CTS.

First of all I gave my aptitude test at PCCOE on 15th Feb. There was an off campus drive of CTS at PCCOE.

Aptitude test was by aspiring minds. Cognizant usually conducts aptitude through a third party like AMCAT.

Aptitude Test:

There were three sections:

1) Quantitative.
2) Logical.
3) English.

NOTE : TIME MANAGEMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT!

You WILL HAVE TO CONTINUOUSLY MANAGE YOUR TIME ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF QUESTIONS LEFT TO ANSWER.

To prepare for the aptitude go through RS Aggarwal Verbal and Non-verbal. That is sufficient. No need to go through RS Aggarwal Quantitative. But still if you are too bad at maths then just go through it once.

English Section is very easy. Questions like synonyms, antonyms were asked. At the end there were two paragraphs.

While attending the paragraphs please read the question first and then read the paragraph.

Then after 10 days I got the mail from aspiring minds that I have cleared the aptitude test and have to appear for the technical interview at SB road on 28th Feb.

Technical Interview:

1) Write a SQL query to update multiple columns in a table.
2) Explain the phases of SDLC.
3) Write a program to generate Fibonacci series.
4) How many leap years are there in 100 years.
5) Difference between group function and conversion function in SQL.

In 5 minutes I was told that I have cleared my technical interview.

HR interview:

A sweet lady took my interview. She was talking with me in a very friendly manner.

She was just asking me about myself, my achievements etc.

My HR interview was also very good.

Then after that they told us that they would give us the result in one or two weeks.

But to our surprise the process took more than two weeks. And then today that is on 19th march I get my on-boarding mail from cognizant.
