CTS PAPER & INTERVIEW - 02 JUL 2006 - CHENNAI

Hi Friends

I am final year student of BE (Electronics and Telecommunication) doing in Chennai. I Got selected in Cognizant Technology Soution Chennai on 2july 2006.

Now I will decribe the pattern of CTS below.

Written test:
there was total 70 question and alloted time was aslo 70 minute.
Paper consist of mainly three parts:
1. Verbal(25)
2. maths(25)
3. reasoning(20)

The Verbal parts consist of 2 passage and rest question were mainly rearranging the sentences.

The Math parts was differ from other test. this time r.s.agarwal didnt helped me a lot. basicly alll the question were like puzzle.

Reasoning was quite easy. Than the other two parts u can finished it off very early.it mainly consists of non verbal reasonoing and some venn diagram based question.

There was no negative marking so attemp as much question as u can.I had attempted around 64q out of 70.there is no sectional cut-off.

Overalll cut-off was around 30-35.

Interview:
in interview my panel consist of single person whom I think was HR.he asked me general question like.
1.Tell me about urself
2. gave me one simple puzzle .I solved it halfly and not compleletly.
3 Draw NAND gate and write its truth table.
3.He askked me about how AC works and what is the principle behind LCD monitor.
4.Question were from my hobbies.
5.Why u want to be n cogznizaat

Lastly I got through.
