CTS PATTERN - AUG 2005

Hi Friends

1st of all i want 2 thank all da members of Friends group & specially Friends mam 4
their invaluable help. ive gone through most of the papers of CTS posted here. they were of gr8 help. its
our campus placement.

The interview was supposed 2 b on the next day of the apti test.but after the apti was finished we were informed
that the interview was next. after 3hrs the result of the apti test was out & i found that i was selected.
here i shud mention that i had attempted 23 qs out of the 40 given. & u must know that CTS has -ve marking.

so i was cautious when attempting qs. i believe that almost 20 were correct out of the 23 i had attempted.
the cut off was ,i suppose around 16. i had the purple coloured paper.

when i was preparing 4 the test i had solved around 30 previous q paper of CTS ALL OF WHICH I GOT FROM
CHATANAS.COM. THANX AGAIN. so the qs were not too tough 4 me. neway,we were afraid because we werent
mentally prepared 4 da interview dat day. & we didnt ve da proper attire 2 attend the interview. but we had 2
attend the interview. the panel i was offered was comprising of 2 gentlemen. they were very very frndly
guys. at first they wanted 2 see my hr form(By the way, we had filled a HR form of COGNIZANT after we
were selected 4 the interview). hten they asked me some easy hr qs which were 2 make the interviewee
comfortable i suppose. qs were like >What does ur father do?
>how many members r there in ur house? etc. then they asked me some basic tech.qs.
which were very easy. they were like what is a stack?
what is linked list? what do u know abt OOPS? they asked me the o/p of a C prog(im from CSE). then i was
given a puzzle 2 solve. it was a bit difficult under that circumstances. but neway i solved the puzzle.

that was my tech & HR interview. after 1 1/2 to 2 hrs they declared the result. and i was delighted 2
see that i was selected. i'll b joining next year 4 im a student of 3rd year at present. thats all 4 now.
