CTS Interview Experience - Hyderabad, 10-Jan-2012

Hi,

I have completed my mca from narasaraopet engineering college in 2011. I got hallticket for cognizant off campus held at hyderabad 7th jan 2012. I felt very happy and then start for preparing. Indiabix will given me a very good support for successful completion of my written test.

CTS consists of analytical test. It is having two papers.

1. Analytical-30Q
2. Verbal-25Q

Total: 55marks.

Will be given 30 mints for each paper.anlytical paper is little bit tough when compare to cts previous papers.
verbal is generally tough, go through it seriously.

After the exam they told that they will sent a mail for the selected candidates by same day evening or next day.

I recieve my mail at 8.45 that i was selected in written test and jan 12 will be my technical round.

Day Of Interview: I was a little bit tense. There are 300 above candidates came for technical round.technical round started in nearly 25 panels. I waited for 2 hours for my turn.

Me: Good morning sir....
Tr: Good mrg .take your seat.How are you sharmila?
Me:Fine sir.( i was little bit tense)
Tr:Dnt get tense sharmila.he is very cool.
Me: Then i smiled and told , ok sir.
Tr:Tell me something about u?
Me:told
Tr: tell abt ur project.
Me:told
Tr:what is exception?and kinds of exceprios?
Me:told
Tr:what is class?what is polymorphism?wt is object?
Me:told
Tr:do you know any sorting techniques?
Me: Yes sir.
Tr:tell me few
me: told
Tr: bubble sort and selction sort how it will works?
Me:told
Tr:which one is better among all sorting techniques?
Me: i told selection sort.
Tr: how explain?
Me:i tried to explain.dnt know he is satisfied or not.
TR:can you answer for queries?
ME:ok sir i try.(but he didnt give me any quries)
TR:which language do you want to work?
ME:java sir?
TR:if we assign work on any other technical side like dbms or
testing  ,which is unknown to you.can you work?
ME:yer sir. i will learn and do.
TR: wiling to relocate any where ?
me: yes sir.
TR:ok.you can leave and wait for hr.
me:than you sir.( i feel veru happy that i was selected in tr)
....................i was initially little bit tense but i reply answer to
the questions with smiling face and confidently.tr is very cool.
try to answer the questions directly.even if you dnt know the answer tell them
directly that "i am not able to recollect it now" .dnt sit silent
or fear.be confident.they will check your confidence level while you answer.

After 2 hours my HR Round. She is very cool

HR:asked some questions regarding to my resume.

HR:wil to relocate to chennai?
me:ok mam.
HR:how much important this job for you?
me:told
HR:ok.u can leave now you will recieve a mail
me:ok mam.thank you

I am very free in hr round. I answerd all questios with smiling After 4 days i got mail that i was a part of cognizant. I feel very happy.
