Capgemini Interview Experience - Hyderabad, December 18 2015
3000 students attended the aptitude round. 600 got selected in it.
Aptitude test: It had three sections and there was no negative marking and time limit 90mins.
Section 1 (Verbal): 25 Q.
Fill in the blanks.
Small simple comprehension.
Section 2 (Logical): 25 Q.
Statement and conclusion.
Very simple bar graph or pie chart.
Code and decode.
Section 3 (Quant): 25 Q.
This section was relatively harder than other two sections.
Time speed distance.
Profit and loss.
Ratio and proportion.
Time and work.
It covered almost all topics from IndiaBix.
Second round: GD.
My topic was : Who should be blamed for the floods in Chennai? govt or common people.
Suggestion: Please have some idea about the current situations in India and Indian govt.
Almost everyone will get a chance to speak but its better to create a chance for yourself, speak relevant, be confident and maintain good eye contact with everyone.
300 (approx) out of 600 got through.
Third round: Personal interview (Mostly technical +HR).
He asked me to name all my subjects and started asking basic questions from most of them. (Mostly dbms).
1. What is a database? what is dbms?
2. What are the types of data models?
3. Differentiate between compiler and debugger?
4. Name few design patterns?
5. What is testing? why do we need testing?
6. What do you want to do ? what kind of work? which technology you want to work on?
Told him my interest in development field and certain languages.
7. Any questions you want to ask?
I asked about some company policies.
Thanks a lot the HR will let you know the result.
It lasted hardly for 10 mins. Max can go upto 20 mins.
Have a good resume and try highlighting your achievements. Be honest and answer confidently.
We got the result within next 4 days and I got selected.
