First of all, I am happy that I have got selected for Accenture. I wanted to share how was my experience with Accenture and I felt this is the best site to share my experience.

Coming to the topic, I was not able to clear TCS aptitude since I didn't prepare for the previous year question paper. So, I was depressed and not in a mood to talk with others. (out of my topic - If you want to get placed for TCS then just see previous paper. You will get more than 22 questions for 30 if you prepare just previous question papers). The very next day there was Accenture coming to our college. My confidence level was too low and I thought let me give a try. I started preparing for Accenture aptitude. I started to solve the tricky question in Quantz.

The next day, around 1:30 pm aptitude test was started. It was conducted by AMCAT.

It contained three sections.

1) Verbal ability (20 questions - 25 min).
2) Quants (25 questions - 35 min).
3) Logical (25 questions - 35 min).

Guys calm down, don't worry, aptitude question of Accenture is easier when compared to other tests. I think one without preparation can clear the aptitude if you have some sense and apply logic wherever necessary.

Topics:

1) VERBAL:

1. SENTENCE COMPLETION.
2. PASSAGE.
3. SYNONYM AND ANTONYMS.

{Guys, I recommend to prepare for verbal because sometimes we can guess answer in verbal part}

2) QUANTS:

1. Logarithms (most important topic, for us there was 5 questions from this topic).
2. Number series, simple equations, simple interest and compound interest, average, ratio, mixture and allegation, permutation and combination, probability.

Also go through topics like time speed distance, trains, pipes and cistern (there was no question from these topics for us).

Guys, quantz will be very easy, don't worry, just solve basic problem in each topic.

3) LOGICAL:

Coding and decoding, blood relation, etc.

Easiest part, no preparation needed for this, so I have not written all topics in logical section.

I completed my aptitude test, and at around 8 pm I got the message from Accenture that I got selected for the next round. I was happy. I prepared my resume that day (lol). I also made a research on company backgrounds.

On the very next day, there was an interview, at 8:30 am we assembled. They divided into batch (a team of 5). Ours was the last batch. We waited till 3 pm. Then our interview process started. They just asked questions like,

- About project,
- Some simple technical question,
- Question like why Accenture,
- Are you comfortable working in IT,
- How do you explain IT for a small child of 10 years age. (SOME BASIC INTERVIEW QUESTION. GOOGLE IT YOU WILL GET PLENTY.)

At last, they asked to leave.

Aptitude cleared: 230/350
HR cleared: 110/230

And I was one in them.

So guys, all the best, prepare well. They just check your communication skill. Practice in front of mirror by explaining the project yourself. They check how you speak. If you create interest surely you will get selected

Thank you.
