Hi Every one,

I gave AMCAT in the month of August. I had applied earlier for Accenture from AMCAT, but I didn't get call at that time. Again when I saw that there is Accenture in JOB OPPORTUNITIES portal on AMCAT, I decided to apply once again. I applied and I forgot that I had applied for Accenture. I was busy with my Java Preparations, when suddenly in evening on 15th October I saw mail with Admit Card for interview at Chennai on 19th of October. I was very much excited.

English - 69 ; Computer Programming - 52 ; Logical - 46; Computer Science - 39 and Quantitative - 97 (all in percentile).

BIG DAY ( Interview):

I reached the VIT Chennai campus 50 mins before the allotted reporting time (11 AM). At the entrance they checked the call Letter and allowed to go at the venue. When I reached there I realized that I am not carrying the Xerox of my marks sheet and ID proof. So immediately I ran to stationary and Library for Xerox but as it was Sunday so everything was closed. And it was almost 11, so I decided to that lets get inside and will figure out something later.

My roll no was 603. So first lot which was called to fill the forms and every formality was from 1 to 600, so I have to wait for around 2 hours in that duration the shops nearby were still closed so that I can make xerox. When my turn came, its started from 601 to 750. Till the time could reach to the room my roll was called and I had to wait for whole lot to get finished.

After the lot get finished I went to officials over there then they again took my form and asked me for Xeroxes. I told I don't have all of them as I was having 3 semesters marks sheet and resume. Then my form was kept aside and I was told to wait. Luckily a guy over there told me that the shop got opened. I told the official and ran to the shop. After that I got extra copies of Xerox and then submitted over there.

After Some time my name was called for interview. In my Batch, It was 5 people. 5 per panel they called and there were one Technical and one HR interviewer seated. We all the 5 first greeted them. They both Asked us to sit. We all sat.

They began with HR Interview.

1. Tell me about your family background?
2. What is more important to me, Knowledge or Money?

First question of batch was same, and 2nd was different for everyone.

1. What is my project and my role in it?
2. What parameters did I use in particular module?

After that we were told to wait in a particular room for our result. After 20 minutes we all were gathered up for our result. They Accenture HR told whoever 20 mins before may leave as their result will be declared later. Our batch was on the line of timing we decided to stay back there and hoped to get result. But our result was not declared we all thought that our whole batch didn't get selected so might be a chance that our result may be declared in next slot.

After 30 mints again we were called for our results, we all were excited and nervous for the result. Then our names were heard and all 5 of us got selected. Finally I took a sigh of relief and there was big SMILE :D on my face. I am very happy and looking forward to work with Accenture.
