Explanation:

This is an alternating addition and subtraction series. In the first pattern, 10 is subtracted from each number to arrive at the next. In the second, 5 is added to each number to arrive at the next.

Hi All,

The series will goes like this:

80, 10, 70, 15, 60, 20, 50, 25, 40, 30, 30, 35, 20 40, 10, 45 ...

This series contains the following 2 series alternatively.

80 70 60 50 ---> A series with decrement of 10
10 15 20 25 ---? A series with increment of 5

First 80, 10 is subracted it comes to 70 then to the previous 10 add 5 then again sub 10 from 70 it comes to 60 then again to the previous 15 add another 5 it comes to 20.
