It depends upon when I am getting this money. If I getting that money at the age of 30, then I will do my job because job gives me chances to improve my skills, knowledge and also gives me chance to learn from management people, who well knows how to use money effectively, so I will work at that time. But if I am getting this money at the age of 45, then I will not do my job because at that time I am capable of running my own business.

Definitely as the work is always important. But I will also plan something else with my job if I get this big amount. Not working after winning a lottery is not worth as we can see examples in our lives from which we should learn. One of them being of a contestant of KBC.

Yes, I would still work because of the following reasons.

1) An Idle mind is a devil's workshop', so work will never get me into idleness.
2) Human Brain tends to lose lustre if not polished. So stimulation of brain cells is of utmost importance.
3) Winning a lottery would be an ephemeral earning, but in work, we earn not just money but experience, fame, name, and also friends almost every day.
4) At least in work, no one would ever hold our Luck or Fate RESPONSIBLE for the earning (like in lottery).

Happiness is something that different from personal satisfaction. If I won 10 million or even 100 crores. It won't give me full satisfaction. Infact, I will become worlds foremast laziest person. And I feel like a hero and then I loose my friends or relatives or even my parents. Which means I loose my happiness. So. I would still work.

Of course, I would work. Because wouldn't wanna be called a dumb Millionaire. To be honest with you, I'll do a lot of work even more than I ever did, and after getting a lot of professional knowledge, skills nd ideas iI'll try to convert this 10 million into billions by setting up my own business. YEAH That's pretty much I'll do if I get my hands on 10 million.

Comments:

Soumak Chongder : The point you made about "setting up your own business" that is where they will catch you. You are suggesting that you will leave their organisation immediately to start your own, then why should they even hire you?

Money does not give you a purpose in life, which work gives. Yes, with that amount of money I may enjoy myself in exotic holiday destinations, invest in assets or help someone who needs it or do other things. But at the end of the day, the satisfaction of achieving something comes from work which money can never give, no matter how much. So I will not stop working.

It's not about the money you gain, its all about the knowledge that we gain when working, once we gain the experience money would come automatically and even if I won the lottery there is no point of saying NO to my work, it's always a big YES with smiles.
