Peat is usually made up of high moisture and organic constituents. If more moisture in coal then it will burn low. So the heating capacity named as "calorific value" is as follow PEAT<LIGNITE<BITUMINOUS<ANTHRACITE. Peat is lowest and anthracite is highest.
