Circuit Description:

Why "3-way", when it's 2 switches, and 2 locations? I know that IS the tern used in the USA, but never understood why. Anyway - main Q - is it never wired in the US with a 3-core + ground cable between the two switches? Far easier to convert an existing installation from 1 switch to 2 by doing it that way, as you don't need to re-route the switched live going to the light. |
