1*1*1=1. 2*2*2=8. 3*3*3=27. 4*4*4=64. 5*5*5=125. 6*6*6=216. 7*7*7=343. 124 is not a perfect cube of any number. |

1 8 27 64 124 216 343. a:1 = 1. 8 = 8. 27=2+7=9. 64=6+4=10=1+0=1. 124=1+2+4=7. 216=2+1+6=9. 343=3+4+3=10=1+0=1. Here the series is 1 8 9 1 8 9 1 8 9 but here second 8th position is occupied by 7. So the wrong number is 124. |

Is it correct if we see it this way? 1-odd. 8-even. 27-odd. 64-even. 124-even. 216-even. 343-odd. So there should be an odd number between 64 and 216 to maintain the odd-even series hence 124 is wrong. |
