25.

How many digits will be there to the right of the decimal point in the product of 95.75 and .02554 ?

[A]. 5[B]. 6
[C]. 7[D]. None of these

Answer: Option E

Explanation:

Sum of decimal places = 7.

Since the last digit to the extreme right will be zero (since 5 x 4 = 20), so there will be 6 significant digits to the right of the decimal point.

95.75 * .02554 = 2.445455
we will not consider the last zero

for the 1st no. there are 2 digits after decimal
for the 2nd no. there are 5 digits after decimal
total no. of decimals = 7
req. no. of digits=(n-1)=(7-1)=6

Its ans will be (7), because according to rule of decimal multiplication when two decimal no are multiplied the no of digit right to decimal point is sum of the no of digit after right to decimal point in two number.

Count the places of the number after the decimal point of the given 1st number and as the same for the given 2nd number. 1st number has 2 places after decimal points and 2nd number has 5 places. Therefore 2+5=7.
